Na zaravni ispod padina planine Kozjak, na levoj obali reke Pčinje, nalazi se manastir posvećen Svetom Prohoru Pčinjskom. Prvi hram podignut je u XI veku. Prema sačuvanom predanju osnovao ga jvizantijski car Roman IV Diogen, u znak zahvalnosti svetitelju, koji mu je prorekao da će jednoga dana postati car.
