Изображена с орденом святого Андрея Первозванного (лента и звезда).

В Каталоге 1980 - „Портрет великой княгини Марии Федоровны"; не датирован. Датируется по знакам ордена святого Андрея Первозванного и малой императорской короне на голове, которые Мария Федоровна получила в день коронации - 5 апреля 1797. Л.Ю. Руднева отводит авторство Вуаля, предположительно считает портрет из ГРМ* работой „Левицкого и мастерской" и датирует концом 1796 -началом 1797 (Руднева 1994**, с. 17).
