  • A renewal search was done at copyright.gov for New York News and New York Sunday News-there were no renewals listed for the year 1963. There's no evidence of continuing copyright for the 1963 paper.
  • A further check was done for renewals for Globe, since the photo company was hired to take the photos for the New York News. There were only 2 original registrations for Globe Photo in 1980 and 1983. Both were for photos taken of the writer Louis L'Amour.
Date February 15, 1953-Newspaper name and date are at top of the uncropped cover.

Author New York Sunday News. The newspaper hired a photo studio called Globe to take photos of Monroe and Russell on the movie set. More of these photos can be seen in the story which ran in the magazine. "Colorphotos made especially for the News by Globe".
