English: Memorial to Pitt-Rivers. One wall of St Peter's Church at Tollard Royal is devoted to the Pitt-Rivers family and especially to Augustus Henry Lane Fox Pitt-Rivers (1827-1900) who lived at nearby Rushmore House and who was president of the Anthropological Institute in 1881-82 and who donated much of his collection to the Museum in Oxford founded in 1884: http://www.prm.ox.ac.uk/
