: Merzse Marsh Nature Trail at 5th station. Fauna: Eurasian penduline tit (Remiz pendulinus), mallard or wild duck (Anas platyrhynchos), purple heron (Ardea purpurea), little egret (Egretta garzetta), sand lizard (Lacerta agilis). The Merzse Marsh is one of the few wetland habitats in the capital with undisturbed water and uliginal vegetation and an adjoining bog field. The open water surface of the marsh offers nesting sites for water fowl. The marsh has dried up in several occasions in the 1990s years. Now, wells have been drilled to ensure the adequete water supply and attemps have been made to conserve the accustomed conditions for wildlife by a system of ditches of several kilometers long. Visiting is restricted in order to preserve the ecosystem of the marsh. Under protection of the Budapest Municipality since 1977.

: train from Keleti pályaudvar (Keleti railway station) and take off at Rákoskert station and walk to south about half km.
