English: Front and western side of the former Meshingomesia Indian School, located at 3820 W600N northeast of Jalapa in Pleasant Township , Grant County , Indiana , United States . Built in 1870, it is part of the Meshingomesia Cemetery and Indian School Historic District , a historic district that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places . It is also part of the larger, locally-named Mississinewa Historic District.
