Summary
Description Mindulle aug 24 2010.jpg |
English:
Tropical Storm Mindulle made landfall along the coast of Vietnam shortly after forming in late August 2010. On the mornings of August 24 and 25, Minduelle caused flooding in multiple provinces, according to a bulletin from ReliefWeb. On August 25, the storm weakened to a tropical depression.
The Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on NASA’s Terra satellite captured this natural-color image on August 24. Mindulle stretches from Hainan westward to Thailand. The eye of the storm appears just off the coast of Vietnam.
