Summary

Description
English: Minneapolis, Minnesota

December 7, 2014

This is the sixth Minneapolis protest over police brutality in two weeks. This one was organized and led by Minneapolis high school students, some of whom walked out of classes last week in protest. The protests are in response to unarmed people of color being killed by law enforcement in the United States such as the Michael Brown who was shot and killed by a police officer in Ferguson, Missouri. Another example is Eric Garner who was wrestled to the sidewalk and held in a choke hold until he was dead. In both cases, it's been announced there will be no criminal charges against the police.
