Summary

Description
English: Moat Lane Junction Station, with train.
View westward, towards Machynlleth and the Coast (ahead), and Llanidloes, Builth and Brecon (Mid-Wales line) (left). Two LMS Ivatt 2MT 2-6-0s can be seen, one of them on the Mid-Wales train. The station was closed on 31/12/62, when the Mid-Wales line was closed (apart from a goods service to Llanidloes until 2/10/67). (A lovely view in the upper reaches of the Severn Valley, with perhaps its source, Plynlimon, on the horizon).
