English: The Ocean House, New Smyrna, Florida; from a c. 1906 postcard published by the American News Company, New York. Built in 1885-1887 by Ora Carpenter, the hotel was purchased by Capt. F. W. Sams, who added the three-story addition. Once located at 124 N. Riverside Drive, it was popular with hunters, fishermen and yachtsmen.
