Summary

Description Old Government House - Parramatta Park, Parramatta, New South Wales. Built in 1799 by Governor Hunter to replace the previous house built by Governor Phillip in 1790. In 1818 Governor Macquarie extended the house to the size it is today. It is the oldest surviving publicly owned building in Australia.
