Olmec were-jaguar
, including almond-shaped eyes, a cleft head (unseen in this photo), a broad flat nose, a snarling mouth with an
everted
upper lip, a band across the lower part of its headdress, and
pleated
earbars. A crossed-band motif appears at the waist.
