One of the original wooden doors at the Prisons of Wars (1757-1815), Edinburgh Castle, Scotland. The graffiti carved on it provide vital clues to the prisoners' identity and feelings. The 1st prisoners of war were 78 and came from the Seven Years War (1776-1783).
