Description
English: Secretary Eric Shinseki testified before the Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee over delays at Veterans Affairs hospitals in Phoenix and elsewhere, and the deaths of at least 40 veterans who were allegedly put on an unofficial patient waiting list. Secretary Shinseki said he hoped to have a preliminary inspector general report in three weeks regarding allegations of personnel misconduct at VA facilities around the country. He said the allegations makes him “mad as hell” and vowed to take all necessary actions.
