Description
Français : Ce chariot a été trouvé dans le tertre funéraire d'Oseberg.

La caisse du chariot est en bois de chêne, les roues sont en hêtre. Il est le seul connu de l'époque viking norvégienne. Tiré par des chevaux, il devait être utilisé pour des défilés et des processions religieuses.

Il est richement sculpté de personnages et d'animaux représentant probablement une légende (sur la photo, détails de la face avant).
