Synaxary
that has 130 folios and contains three works: (1) The Life of
Samuel of Kalamon
, (2)
Ephraim
's Discourse on the
Patriarch Joseph
, and (3) a Jeremiah apocryphon known as the
History of the Captivity in Babylon
. The manuscript is written essentially in
Sahidic
with some influences from the Fayyumic dialect, most likely due to it being written for the Monastery of the Archangel St. Michael at Hamouli in the
Fayyum
. This folio contains the start of the third work, the
History of the Captivity in Babylon
.
