KINGS of MACEDON. Perdikkas II. 451-413 BC. AR Tetrobol (15mm, 2.45 g, 12h). Heavy series. Struck circa 437/6-432/1 BC. Horseman, wearing petasos, holding two spears, riding right; below, dog standing right / Forepart of lion right; kerykeion above; all in shallow incuse square. Raymond 200 (A26d/HP24c); SNG ANS 53 var. (Π not kerykeion; same obv. die); SNG Copenhagen 500 (same dies). Good VF, lightly toned. Rare issue with dog.
