Vieste's iconic sea stack Pizzomunno, seen from the sea, with bathers photographing each other at its base - showing scale. Pizzomunno is a huge sea stack composed of chalky, white limestone and capped with a tuft of vegetation at its summit. It is the subject of a picturesque local legend in which it is said to be the petrified form of a young fisherman of the same name, whose beloved Cristalda lies chained at the bottom of the sea. They are reunited for a single day once in every hundred years.

L'iconico faraglione di Vieste Pizzomunno, visto dal mare, con i bagnanti che si fotografano alla base, mostrandone le dimensioni. Pizzomunno è un enorme faraglione composto da calcare bianco e ricoperto da un ciuffo di vegetazione alla sua sommità. È oggetto di una pittoresca leggenda locale in cui si dice sia la forma pietrificata di un giovane pescatore omonimo, la cui amata Cristalda giace incatenata in fondo al mare. Si riuniscono per un solo giorno una volta ogni cento anni.
