Summary

Description
English: The propulsion compartment of the Poisk Mini-Research Module 2 (MRM2) departs from the International Space Station and was deorbited four hours later for a destructive reentry in Earth's atmosphere. The undocking occurred at 6:16 p.m. (CST) on Dec. 7, 2009. Its departure opens up a docking port for Russian vehicles on Poisk, which will first be used when NASA astronaut Jeffrey Williams, Expedition 22 commander; and Russian cosmonaut Maxim Suraev, flight engineer, relocate their Soyuz spacecraft in January 2010.
