  • in broad notation [i, y, e, œ, a, o, u] are [i, ɨ, ɛ, ɜ, a, ɔ, u]
  • in narrow notation [i, e, œ, a, o, u] are slightly lowered [i̞, ɛ̞, ɜ̞, ɐ̞, ɔ̞, u̞]
  • in narrow notation [y, yⁱ, yᵒ] are [ɪ̠, ɪ, ɘ]
  • [iᵘ, uⁱ, eᵒ, oᵉ, aᵉ, aᵒ], are centralized [ï, ü, ɛ̈, ɔ̈, æ̞̈, ɑ̈]
  • [iᵉ, uᵒ, eⁱ, oᵘ, eᵃ, oᵃ, yᵘ] are raised [e̝, o̝, ɛ̝, ɔ̝, æ, ɒ̝, ɘ̝]
  • [iʸ, eʸ] are retracted [i̠, ɛ̠],
  • [uʸ, oʸ, yᵉ] are advanced [u̟, ɔ̟, ɘ̟]. .
