English: THE HOMESTEAD WAS PURCHASED BY JOHAN PETER ZEPPER IN 1765. ZEPPER WAS AN EMIGRANT FROM GERMANY. IT REMAINBED IN THE ZEPPER FAMILY UNTIL 1958 AND IS NOW OPERATED AS THE QUIET VALLEY LIVING HISTORICAL FARM. THIS IS THE MAIN HOUSE WHICH WAS BUILT IN 1765. NUMEROUS OTHER BUILDINGS ARE ON THE FARM INCLUDING AN 18590 BANK BARN AND A RECONSTRUCTED 1893 SCHOOL HOUSE
