Summary
Description RCAF Station Centralia Aerial 2020.jpg |
English:
This is an aerial photograph of the former RCAF Station Centralia taken in the summer of 2020 by J. S. (Steve) Bond flying a Cessna 152 aircraft about 1,500 feet above ground level. The airfield is now known as the Centralia/James T. Field Memorial Airport.
Across the road from the airport buildings is the postwar "PMQs" or Permanent Married Quarters, i.e. housing for military families stationed at Centralia. Beyond the PMQs and slightly to their right is the hamlet of Centralia.
