Română: Descrierea stemei

Stema comunei Petreştii de Jos, potrivit anexei nr. 1.5, se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, despicat.

În dextra, în câmpul roşu, tăiat de un brâu undat de argint, se află deasupra o cruce treflată de aur, iar dedesubt un vultur de argint.

În senestra, în câmp albastru, se află un munte de argint şi o floare de colţ din acelaşi metal, cu stamine de aur.

Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Semnificaţiile elementelor însumate

Crucea treflată simbolizează credinţa locuitorilor.

Brâul undat reprezintă hidrografia localităţii, râul Hăşdate.

Floarea de colţ şi vulturul simbolizează flora şi fauna din zonă.

Muntele face referire la Cheile Turzii.

Coroana murală cu un turn crenelat semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de comună.
