RetroUSB-AVS-Console-wController-FL.jpg
|
The AVS video game console, a Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) hardware clone, shown with an original NES controller (the system has no bundled controller). Designed and produced by Brian Parker of RetroUSB, this system uses a FPGA to hardware emulate the NES console. It outputs via HDMI at 720p, greatly reducing lag and improving visuals on modern LCD TVs versus the NES's original composite video. The system supports Famicom or NES cartridges, original accessories and up to four players.
