Robert_E_Lee_statue_removed_from_column_New_Orleans_19_May_2017_13.jpg

Summary

Description
English: Robert E Lee statue at Lee Circle New Orleans being removed from atop the column.

Watched from Howard Avenue side. The crowd watching had a block party festive atmosphere. I was told there was a small group of neo-Confederates on the other side of the circle protesting the removal.
