Description
English: "The burning of Rose Allins hand, by Edmund Tyrrell" on 7 March 1557. Rose Allin or Allen was arrested together with her parents, William and Alice Mount or Munt, for their Protestant beliefs. They, along with seven others, were burnt at the stake at Colchester in Essex on 2 August 1557; some of the Colchester Martyrs.
