Summary
Description Royal Victoria Hospital fan.jpeg |
English:
"
Large axial flow fan driven by one of two steam engines that back each other up. Now out of use but was certainly still workable in 2005 and this part of the complex was to be preserved. It is quite remarkable that the only two installations of this type that are known to survive are in Belfast and within a reasonable walk of each other.
