Description STS117TakeoffEdwardsSCA.jpg	Space Shuttle Atlantis atop of NASA's 747 Shuttle Carrier Aircraft takes off from Edwards Air Force Base in California. Atlantis landed at Edwards following the STS-117 mission and so needed to be transported back to Kennedy Space Center .
