Summary
| Description | Santa Clara County Transit LRV 821 arriving at Old Ironsides station (in Santa Clara, California), which was the northern terminus of the light rail system's only line at the time, in 1993. It had already crossed over to the "inbound" track and will reverse ends at the station and depart from the same track, headed in the opposite direction. Car 821 was built in 1987 by the Urban Transportation Development Corporation (UTDC). (The San Jose-based Santa Clara County Transit District and its parent, the umbrella organization known as the Santa Clara County Transportation Agency, were replaced by the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority in 1995.) |
