Summary
Description Scythian genetic makeup.png |
English:
Scythian genetic makeup: Scytho-Siberians formed out of the Steppe_MLBA - Khövsgöl_LBA or Shamanka_EN cline of Bronze Age Central Asia, with additional BMAC or Neolithic Iranian inputs. The three main ancestry components are shown in green, red and violet representing the ancestries maximized in Anatolian farmers, Iranian farmers, and Neolithic Hunter Gatherers from West Siberia (WSHG), respectively. The WSHG (Tyumen HG) themself were first modeled as 20% EHG (Eastern European), 73% ANE (Ancient North Eurasian) and 6% ANA (Ancient Northeast Asian) by Narasimhan et al. 2019 and fall into the WHG-ANE cline, being close to Eastern European hunter-gatherers (EHG) and Botai_EBA in Central Asia.
