Summary
Description Sd.Kfz. 234-4 at the U.S. Army Armor & Cavalry Collection.jpg |
English:
Sd.Kfz. 234/4 at the U.S. Army Armor & Cavalry Collection. This vehicle was surrendered by the IV Panzer Corps in Czechoslovakia. It was brought back the U.S. for research with no wheels and heavy damaged. It became one of the Collection's original pieces, arriving at Fort Knox in December of 1946. At some point it was fitted with modified American wheels. Though incomplete, it is a rare piece and an excellent example of emphasis placed on the ability of German scout units to fight in reconnaissance operations.
