English:
Sidheáns are blocks of turf which are left uncut by the turf cutters. They are places where there is a 'bad feeling' about cutting the turf from them. Sidheans normally consist of just peat. Carraghauns are similar but they have rocks in them (possible megalith sites) and Leachtas have exposed stones in them. This sidheán is at Killgalligan, Kilcommon, Erris, North Mayo. Its name is Sidheán Mór.
