Summary

Description
English: Site of 517 High Road, Leytonstone, London, E11 3EE, birthplace of Alfred Hitchcock. Where the gas station now stands was a row of houses and a grocer's shop, where Hitchcock's family lived and worked, and where, according to several biographers, Hitchcock was born. The houses on the right display a mural from The Birds (1963). In 2014, Mateusz J. Odrobny and Anna Mill painted the mural on the properties running from 527 to 533 High Road.
