  • foreground: (a) 1600 mm (5ft 3in) broad gauge; (b) 1435 mm (4ft 8 1 2 standard gauge; (c) 1067 mm (3ft 6in) narrow gauge; (d) rail common to all three gauges
  • in the distance: (a–c) broad gauge; (b–d) standard gauge; (b-c) narrow gauge. Common rails are: (c) broad and narrow; (b) standard and narrow.
The track is at the National Railway Museum, Port Adelaide , South Australia , built from components salvaged from Gladstone railway yard , South Australia.
