Monterey County Librarian Anne Hadden, her husband, and Librarian Ellen Frink on horseback on the coast trail between Gorda and Lucia on the Big Sur coast. Anne Hadden was the first county librarian and traveled from Salinas to bring books to remote county libraries located in Posts, Lucia, and Gorda on the south coast.
