This photo shows a section of the British graves at the site of the Battle of Spioenkop. Many of the fallen soldiers were buried in the trenches where they died. These graves therefore give an indication of where the trenches were located at the time of the battle.
Afrikaans:
Hierdie foto toon 'n gedeelte van die Britse grafte by die plek waar die Slag van Spioenkop plasgevind het. Baie van die gesneuwelde Britte is begrawe in die loopgrawe waar hulle gesterf het. Die grafte is dus 'n goeie aanduiding van waar die loopgrawe was ten tye van die geveg.
