Summary

Description
English: St. Peter & St. Paul; the parish church of Hockley This church is mainly 13th century. It has a very interesting tower, starting as square in plan at the base and then becoming octagonal on the upper stage. The base is supported by thick angle buttresses. With its battlements and recessed spire on top, it is a very charming piece of architecture. The church stands some distance from the village.
