, built by Bremer Vulkan and launched in 1912 as
Buenos Aires
for Hamburg Südamerikanische Dampfschifffahrts-Gesellschaft. Seized by France in 1918 as part of First World War reparations.
Passed to Messageries Maritimes in November 1921 and renamed Céphée . Ran between France and Australia: first departure 30 April 1922. On another voyage she left Marseille on 25 August 1926 and reached Sydney on 18 October 1926. Scrapped at Blyth, Northumberland in 1935. |
