Mokoia
, built in 1898 by Wm Denny & Bros of Dumbarton for the Union Steamship Co of New Zealand. She was a troop ship 1914–18, laid up 1920 and reduced to a hulk in 1929. She sank in Carey's Bay in 1931. In 1941 she was raised, cut down to her waterline for scrap, and the remainder sunk at Otago Heads to strengthen the mole.
