Description
Français : Statue de la mythique Clémence Isaure. L'actuelle statue, aujourd'hui installée dans la salle Clémence Isaure de l'hôtel d'Assézat, a été constituée au XVIème siècle à partir de sculptures médiévales : le buste et la tête proviennent d'une statue funéraire de l'église de la Daurade, et le corps d'un gisant appartenant à une certaine Bertrande de la famille des Isalguier.
English: Statue of the mythical Clémence Isaure. The current statue, now installed in the Clémence Isaure room of the Hôtel d'Assézat, was created in the 16th century from medieval sculptures: the bust and head come from a funerary statue in the church of la Daurade, and the body from a recumbent belonging to a certain Bertrande, of the Isalguier family.
