Statue in the Gardens. The statue in the garden is Rufus Daniel Isaacs (1860 - 1935) first Marquis of Reading, Attorney General & Lord Chief Justice and Viceroy of India. It was carved by Charles Sargent Jagger and set up in New Delhi, in the late 1960s it was moved to Reading and set up in the gardens in 1971.
