(1869), Monument à la mémoire du maréchal d'Empire André Masséna, Jardin Masséna, Nice, France. La plaque fixée sur le socle précise:
Le maréchal d'Empire André Masséna, Prince d'Essling et duc de Rivoli est né à Nice le 6 avril 1758, à proximité dans une maison aujourd'hui disparue, sur l'avenue Félix-Faure (à l'époque faubourg Saint-Jean-Baptiste). Abandonnant Nice et les Etats de Savoie, il s'établit en France, y entre dans l'armée et devient un bon officier des armées révolutionnaires, brillant second de Bonparte à partir de 1796. Au terme d'une belle carrière militaire, ternie cependant par a rapacité et son ralliement final aux Bourbons, Masséna meurt à Paris en 1817. Après l'annexion de 1860, les autorités françaises lancèrent à Nice une souscription pour l'érection d'un monument à sa mémoire. Devant le peu de fonds recueillis dans le public, la famille du maréchal la compléta et la statue put être inaugurée le 15 août 1869, sur un square qui constitue le premier élément de la couverture du torrent Paillon.
