Despite its completeness, the taxonomic affinities of Suuwassea have been uncertain. It currently is classified as a dicraeosaurid. The anatomy of Suuwassea has been thoroughly described in the literature, with only a few bones not being illustrated in the necessary views for this diagram. The unknown regions have been based on Lingwulong , Bajadasaurus , and Dicraeosaurus .
