This photograph shows the roofs of the facilities of the swimming pool on the Beach at Leça da Palmeira, covered with green patinated copper. This project was designed by Álvaro Siza Vieria, 1959-73. The green copper cover was added to the previously black roofs during a renovation of the buildings in the 1990ies.
