Sydenham Manor House, near Bridgwater, Somerset. Origin of de Sydenham family, later of Combe Sydenham; Orchard Sydenham; Combe, Dulverton; Brympton D'Evercy (Sydenham baronets); all in Somerset. In 2015 owned by Hinckley Point Nuclear Power Plant, which purchased the house with a large flat plot of land formerly occupied by factories, intended for construction of accommodation for workers on the proposed new nuclear power plant 12 miles away.
