English: Schematic of a laser ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometer; a pulsed laser creates ions from material deposited on a target; the ions are accelerated and separate by mass in the drift region before being detected.
Русский: Схема времяпролетного масс-спектрометра с лазерной ионизацией образца. Импульсный лазер ионизирует материал нанесенный на мишень, далее ионы ускоряются и разделяются пространственно по массе в области дрейфа перед детектированием.
