After the initial advances of the offensive ended on June 25, ISIL carried out a suicide attack on Kobanî , as well as an attack on Tell Abyad, from June 25 through July 3. ISIL also launched multiple counterattacks into the M4 Highway intersection and Ayn Issa; however, these attacks were fully repelled by July 10, and the Kurdish-led forces were able to recapture all of the areas lost, thus ending their offensive on that day.
