Durante il primo weekend del Ravello Festival si è inaugurata la sezione danza con uno spettacolo tutto votato al tema scelto dal direttore artistico Laura Valente: attraversare i muri, abbattere le barriere della diversità, del razzismo, delle differenze. Una serata dal doppio passo – in prima assoluta per il Ravello Festival – che nel primo dei due momenti: Balanchine in the dark, ha reso omaggio alle creazioni senza tempo di George Balanchine, danzate dai ballerini della ‘sua’ compagnia, The Stars of American Ballet & Daniel Ulbricht. Ad essere portate in scena Tarantella, Apollo, Pas de Deux, Diamonds Pas de Duex, Who Cares? e Sing, Sing, Sing di Daniel Ulbricht. A salire sul palco oltre allo stesso Ulbricht, Erica Pereira, Teresa Reichlen, Ask La Cour, Unity Phelan, Russell Janzen e Danielle Diniz.
