Summary

Description

The Governor of Harar's mansion houses a small but interesting collection of historical and ethnographic items.

While the Governor of Harar and the rest of the Ethiopian ruling elite were Ethiopian Orthodox Christians, this manuscript is a reminder that Harar is the fourth-holiest city in Islam.
