Summary
| Description |
English:
The Three Sisters, small granite islets in the Potomac River in the District of Columbia in the United States. A local landmark, a large bridge was scheduled to be built over them in 1961. A major political battle occurred over whether to build the bridge. The bridge was effectively cancelled in 1972.
